Opportunities to get involved volunteering with Breaking Beats

Breaking Beats is on a mission to transform lives through the power of arts in the Doncaster area. Since 2014, our community-based initiative has been dedicated to leveraging music and art as catalysts for personal and communal growth. As we continue to address challenges like skill shortages, poverty, and a lack of inspiration, we invite passionate individuals to join our cause. Volunteering with us is not only about making a difference; it's about growing as part of a community that values creativity and change.

Who we're looking for

  1. Photographers/Videographers: Do you enjoy capturing moments that tell a story? We need you to help document our workshops and the visible impact they have on participants. This role is perfect for both seasoned professionals looking to give back and budding photographers wanting to build their portfolio. By volunteering, you'll gain the opportunity to enhance your skills and showcase your work as part of a meaningful cause.
  2. Musicians: If you have a passion for music and a desire to inspire, come and share your talent with our participants. Your involvement could be the spark that ignites a lifelong passion for music in a young person. This role is ideal for musicians who not only want to perform but also wish to mentor and foster creative expression among kids and teenagers.
  3. Enthusiastic Mentors and Helpers: Do you have a knack for working with young people? Are you skilled at crowd control and building relationships? Your energy and dedication can help create a nurturing environment where kids feel inspired and supported. This opportunity is perfect for those who enjoy interacting with children and youth and who are keen to make a positive impact in their lives through art and music.

At Breaking Beats, we believe in the transformative power of the arts and we need your help to continue our work. Join us in making a tangible difference in the Doncaster community, and enrich your own life with new experiences and connections. Together, we can keep the beats breaking and the arts alive for another decade and beyond.
